ADMINISTRATIVE BOARD
a. Administrative Board and Functioning:
The university administrative board consists of deans and three professors who are elected
by the senate to represent various teaching units and fields of the university for a term of
four years, under the chairmanship of the rector.
The rector may call the administrative board for a meeting when necessary.
The vice rectors may participate in the administrative board meetings without voting rights.
b. Duties:
The university administrative board is an auxiliary body to the rector in administrative
activities and performs the following duties:
1. Assisting the rector in implementing the decisions of higher education institutions
and the senate in line with the designated plans and programs.
2. Ensuring the implementation of activity plans and programs, reviewing the
investment programs and budget draft proposals, taking into consideration the
recommendations from university units, and presenting them to the rectorate with
its suggestions.
3. Making decisions on matters brought forward by the rector related to university
management.
4. Examining and finalizing objections to decisions made by faculty, institute, and
vocational school boards.
5. Performing other duties as assigned by Law No. 2547.
